Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, are located in the United States, and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms on your own behalf or on behalf of an entity you represent. These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy by reference.

Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including but not limited to text, copy, product names, product descriptions, photographs, renders, illustrations, hardware diagrams, cross-sections, logos, software, code, and the overall look and feel — is owned by Trelace LLC or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, trade dress, patent, and other intellectual-property laws.

You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view the Site in a standard web browser for your personal, non-commercial evaluation of Trelace products. No other rights are granted. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, modify, translate, create derivative works from, sell, or otherwise exploit any Site content without our prior written permission.

Trademarks

TRELACE, Universal Mount, Service Spine, Strata, Skyline, Cairn, and the Trelace logo are trademarks of Trelace LLC. All other names, brands, and marks are the property of their respective owners. Nothing on the Site grants any license or right to use any Trelace trademark without our prior written permission.

Pending intellectual property & confidentiality

Trelace product designs, mounting mechanisms, integrated lighting systems, module architectures, and related concepts are proprietary and are the subject of pending intellectual-property filings, including patent applications. Information published on this Site is provided for the limited purpose of describing forthcoming products to prospective customers in the United States. It is not an offer to license, transfer, or otherwise grant any intellectual-property rights.

Reverse-engineering, dimensional recovery from imagery, derivative design, or the manufacture, importation, offering for sale, or sale of any product based on or derived from information on this Site is prohibited and may infringe Trelace’s intellectual-property rights.

AI, scraping, and dataset restrictions

You may not, and you may not authorize or enable any third party to:

  • scrape, crawl, mirror, or bulk-download the Site or any portion of it, except by well-behaved search-engine crawlers acting in accordance with our /robots.txt and /ai.txt;
  • ingest Site content — including product imagery, renders, diagrams, technical drawings, or descriptive copy — into any dataset used to train, fine-tune, or evaluate machine learning or generative-AI models;
  • use any automated system to access the Site in a manner that sends more request messages to our servers than a human could reasonably produce using a conventional web browser;
  • circumvent access controls or geographic restrictions on the Site.

See /ai.txt for our machine-readable AI-usage preferences. Publication of /ai.txt and /robots.txt constitutes notice under 17 U.S.C. § 1201 and analogous state and foreign law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or any related systems;
  • upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code;
  • use the Site to compete with Trelace or to build a competing product.

Waitlist & pre-launch communications

Trelace has not yet launched. Product descriptions, renders, pricing indications, ship windows, and availability statements on the Site are forward-looking and subject to change without notice. Joining the waitlist does not constitute a purchase, a reservation, or a binding offer by either party. When Trelace opens pre-orders or sales, separate purchase terms will govern that transaction.

By submitting your email through the waitlist form, you consent to receive transactional and marketing email from Trelace regarding the waitlist, launch dates, and founding cohort. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by emailing info@trelace.com.

DMCA copyright policy

Trelace respects intellectual-property rights and expects users to do the same. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, please send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) that includes:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
  • identification of the allegedly infringing material and its URL on the Site;
  • your contact information (address, phone, email);
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
