• We are Trelace LLC, an Arizona limited liability company building outdoor wall systems.
• We collect your email when you join the waitlist, plus basic analytics from your visit (pages viewed, coarse location, device type).
• We use it to send you launch updates, improve the site, and secure the service.
• We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• You have rights to access, correct, delete, port, and appeal — under the privacy laws of your state.

Trelace LLC ("Trelace," "we," "us," or "our") is the controller of the personal information described in this Policy. Our registered business address is:

This Policy covers our marketing site at trelace.com and any page that links to it. It does not cover third-party sites we link to, or products and services once ordering is open — those will have their own terms and notices.

We keep collection narrow. In the categories used by California's CCPA and mirrored in most other US state privacy laws:

• Identifiers — your email address (when you join the waitlist or contact us) and a hashed, salted form of your IP address for security and duplicate-prevention.
• Internet or network activity — pages viewed, referring URL, UTM campaign parameters, approximate session duration, and interaction events (such as "waitlist submitted") captured via Google Analytics 4 in a first-party configuration.
• Commercial information — your expressed interest in becoming a founding-cohort customer.
• Geolocation — coarse location (typically city / state) derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise geolocation.
• Inferences — a lightweight signal of where you are in our funnel (for example, "viewed system" vs. "confirmed waitlist"), used only to improve the site.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account or payment card information, precise geolocation, biometric or genetic data, health information, information about children under 16, or any category of "sensitive personal information" as defined by state law.

• Confirm your waitlist signup and send launch updates.
• Understand how the site is used so we can improve it — aggregate and de-identified where possible.
• Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not use your personal information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We do not use it to train third-party AI models.

We collect and use personal information only for the purposes described above, and only to the extent reasonably necessary and proportionate to achieve those purposes. We will not use your information for a materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purpose without providing notice or, where required, obtaining your consent.

We use a small number of first-party cookies and local storage keys so the site works, so we can remember your consent choices, and so we can measure traffic with Google Analytics 4.

We do not run advertising pixels or cross-site tracking on trelace.com. Advertising and personalization categories in our consent banner are off by default and remain off unless you explicitly opt in.

You can review and change your choices any time from the cookie preferences panel, or by clearing site data in your browser.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only with a limited set of vetted service providers acting on our behalf, under written contracts that restrict their use of the data:

• Hosting and infrastructure — to serve the site and store waitlist entries.
• Email delivery — to send confirmation and update emails.
• Analytics processor — Google Analytics 4, configured with IP anonymization and without Google Signals.

We may also disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required to comply with a lawful request, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Trelace, our users, or the public. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our assets, personal information may transfer as part of that transaction; we will notify you and honor commitments made in this Policy.

• Waitlist entries — retained until product launch plus 24 months, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first.
• Analytics events — retained for 14 months in Google Analytics 4 (the platform default we use), then automatically deleted.
• Server and security logs — retained for approximately 90 days, then rotated.
• Correspondence with us — retained for as long as reasonably necessary to answer your question or maintain a business record.

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. These include TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest on our managed database, row-level access controls that scope data to authorized roles, and salted hashing of IP addresses in our analytics pipeline.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. If you believe you have discovered a vulnerability, please email info@trelace.com with the subject line "Security."

Depending on where you live in the United States, you may have some or all of the following rights with respect to the personal information we hold about you:

• Right to know / access — what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and (if applicable) sell or share.
• Right to correct — ask us to fix inaccurate information about you.
• Right to delete — ask us to delete personal information we have collected from you.
• Right to portability — receive a copy of your information in a readily usable format.
• Right to opt out of the "sale" of personal information, of "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, and of targeted advertising. As noted above, Trelace does not sell or share in these ways today; we will honor your opt-out regardless.
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information, so this right has no data to apply to.
• Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right.
• Right to appeal — if we deny your request and your state provides an appeal right (for example Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and several other states), you may appeal by replying to our decision email.

How to submit a request

Email info@trelace.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us which right you'd like to exercise. To protect your data, we will verify your request by matching the email address you use to one on file, and we may ask a limited follow-up question. We aim to respond within 45 days; if we need more time, we will let you know and may extend by an additional 45 days as permitted by law.

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask for written permission signed by you and may still verify your identity directly.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, in every US state that recognizes it. Because we do not currently sell, share for cross-context behavioral advertising, or run targeted advertising on trelace.com, a GPC signal has no additional data to act on today — but we treat its presence as a durable opt-out on your browser.

California Civil Code §1798.83 permits California residents to request certain information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. To make a Shine the Light request, email info@trelace.com with the subject line "Shine the Light."

Trelace is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please email info@trelace.com and we will delete it.

Trelace serves customers in the United States. This site and our current offerings are intended for US residents. If you access the site from outside the United States, you acknowledge that any information you provide will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Our site may link to third-party websites and services we do not operate. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or practices. Please review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. For material changes, we will provide additional notice appropriate to the change — such as an email to our waitlist or a banner on the site — before it takes effect.
